Andreea Truican is the Country Director of Genekor Medical in Romania and contributes strategically to the International Market Business Development Department.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Diplomacy from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, followed by two Master’s degrees in Quality Management and International Business from the same institution. She also earned a Master’s in Applied Genetics and Biotechnology from the University of Bucharest and completed her MBA at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, an experience that further enhanced her strategic insight and global perspective.
Her multidisciplinary education, spanning the life sciences, quality management, and international business, enables her to approach the biotechnology sector with both analytical precision and strategic understanding. Throughout her career, she has focused on bridging innovation and patient access, helping to make advanced genomic technologies available to those who can benefit most.
She remains committed to expanding access to modern diagnostic solutions and to supporting the integration of precision medicine into everyday clinical practice, with the goal of improving outcomes for patients in Romania and across the region.
