Response to Immunotherapy
PD-L1 testing evaluates the expression of the PD-L1 protein in tumor tissue using immunohistochemistry. PD-L1 expression is used as a biomarker in specific cancer types and treatment settings to support the evaluation of immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy. Clinical interpretation depends on tumor type, treatment indication, assay and the relevant scoring system.
PD-L1 test is designed for the following cases:One approach to fighting cancer is blocking the PD-L1 protein, which may prevent cancer cells from inactivating T cells through both PD-1 and B7.1. The goal of immunotherapy is to increase the activity of the immune system to generate a more effective anticancer response.
PD-L1 test is performed using the immunohistochemistry method, which is used to detect PD-L1 protein in formalin-fixed and paraffin-encapsulated (FFPE) – tissue from non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) from gastric adenocarcinomas, adenocarcinomas of gastroesophageal sphincter, urinary tract and other types of cancer.
For those patients where only their response to immunotherapy needs to be investigated, it is recommended that Immune Response, which includes the three biomarkers predicting response to TMB immunotherapy, MSI& PD–L1
What types of cancer does it cover?
The test covers all types of cancer and helps predict patients’ response to immunotherapy. The PD-L1 test is most often performed in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), gastric adenocarcinomas, adenocarcinomas of gastroesophageal sphincter, urinary tract and other types of cancer.

Results are delivered within 7 business days.
What type of sample is required for the test?
A paraffin block containing the tumor tissue or unstained paraffin slides.

How I send the sample and receive the results?
