Genekor Medical participated as a supporter of the 3rd Scientific & Informative Event of Europa Donna Hellas, entitled “Advanced Breast Cancer & Quality of Life: How Far Have We Come?”, held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Athens Capital Hotel, under the auspices of the Hellenic Cancer Federation (ELLOK).
The event brought into focus not only the latest therapeutic advances in advanced breast cancer, but also an equally important aspect of care: the quality of life of people living with the disease.
Distinguished scientists, healthcare professionals, patient representatives and other stakeholders exchanged knowledge and perspectives on the latest treatment options, personalized approaches to care and the possibilities offered by scientific progress. At the same time, discussions addressed issues that directly affect patients’ everyday lives, including side-effect management, psychological support, employment and patients’ rights, access to innovative treatments and clinical trials, as well as family support.
The three thematic panel discussions provided different perspectives on the experience of living with advanced breast cancer. The discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration among physicians, scientists, patients, representatives of public institutions and society, with the aim of promoting a more comprehensive and patient-centered approach to care.
As part of the event, Dr. Nikos Tsoulos, CEO of Genekor Medical, participated in the discussion, contributing to the dialogue around the current challenges and needs of people living with advanced breast cancer.
Genekor Medical continues to support scientific and social initiatives that promote knowledge, open dialogue and personalized oncology care, placing patients’ needs and quality of life at the center of care.
