Vasiliki Metaxa-Mariatou studied Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Essex, UK. She obtained her Master Degree from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the University of Glasgow.
She has published 12 papers in various international journals and since 2001 she has worked at the laboratories of “Hygeia” Hospital, Molecular Biology of Eurogenet S.A. and Biogenomica S.A., where she applied molecular techniques for research and diagnostic purposes.
