Dr. Gesine Enderle - Medical Director International, MSM Exact Sciences

• Dr Enderle received her Master’s degree in Biological Sciences and PhD in Pharmaceutical Biology from Universities in Germany. In her thesis she investigated the Medical System of Vanuatu with focus on plants with antitumor and anti-inflammatory properties, validating the findings in vitro on an NCI cancer panel. In her Postdoc at the University of Zurich, Switzerland she continued her studies on plants from Vanuatu and other tropical regions focusing on the anti-inflammatory aspect and the influence of zero gravity on the human immune system.
• In 2012 she joined Novartis Oncology and spent 7 years in various Medical Affairs roles of increasing responsibility at local and European level, covering multiple Solid Tumors and Rare Diseases. From 2019 she built and led the German Pipeline and Solid Tumors team at GSK, including a secondment with GSK Global in the area of Lung Cancer. Since October 2023 she serves as Medical Director International, Mid-size markets at EXACT Sciences, leading the medical Oncotype Dx strategy across 40+ markets in the Europe-Middle East-Africa region.

• Asistant prof (docent), MD., PhD Jelena Maksimenko is a Breast Surgeon at Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital, Riga, Latvia. Dr Maksimenko is a lead researcher in Riga Stradins University Institute of Oncology. She is an expert of the Latvian Council of and has published multiple articles in international scientific journals in the field of breast cancer, breast surgery and hereditary breast cancer.

Dr. Anneli Elme - Oncologists-chief physician, Head of Chemotherapy Centre, Oncology Haematology Clinic, North Estonia Medical Centre

• Dr. Anneli Elme is an oncologist, who works as the head of the chemotherapy center of the Oncology and Haematology Clinic in the North Estonia Medical Centre.
• In 2013, Dr Elme was elected as the Estonian representative of the European Oncotherapy Association. Since 2016, she has been the chairperson of the Estonian Oncology Association. In the years 2003-2007, she completed her training at the University of Helsinki Cancer Centre in Finland.
• Dr. Elme has participated as a lead researcher in more than 20 clinical research and has published numerous scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
• She is also a member of the EORTC Gastrointestinal Working Group of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer and the ESMO Gastrointestinal Oncology Journal editorial board.

Dr. Dimitra Bouzarelou - Clinical Laboratory Geneticist Head of Inherited Diseases Department, Genekor Medical S.A

• Dr. Dimitra Bouzarelou studied Biology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) and holds a master’s degree specializing in Health Unit Management. She completed her doctoral thesis at the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics of the Institute of Biology of the E.K.E.F.E. “DIMOKRITOS” in collaboration with the Department of Biology of EKPA. He holds a specialty title in clinical laboratory genetics recognized by the European Board of Medical Genetics (EBMG).
• She has published 6 papers in international scientific journals in the field of Genetics and Molecular Biology. She has been working at Genekor Medical S.A. since 2022.

Dr. Georgios Tsaousis - Group Leader of Bioinformatics, Genekor Medical S.A

• Dr. Georgios Tsaousis studied Biology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA) and holds a master’s degree in “Bioinformatics” from the Department of Biology at UoA.
• He completed his doctoral thesis at the Biophysics and Bioinformatics Laboratory at the Department of Biology, Section of Cell Biology and Biophysics of UoA, where he worked as a postdoctoral researcher on Bioinformatics and applied Machine Learning algorithms towards the computational analysis of biological sequences and complex biological systems.
• He has published 24 papers in international scientific journals in the field of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics.

George Kapetsis B.Sc, M.Sc - Medical Manager, Genekor Medical S.A

•   George Kapetsis is Medical Manager at Genekor Medical S.A. since January 2024.
• Graduated in Biology from the University of Athens in 2015. He holds a Master’s degree from the Department of Biotechnology of the Agricultural University of Athens (2016) with the title ”Systems Biology”. He has 5 publications in international scientific journals. He worked in the Department of Molecular Genetics of Biomedicine from 2017-2019. He has been working at Genekor since 2019
